Ranibizumab ile Tedavi Edilen Toksoplazma Koryoretinitine İkincil Koroidal Neovasküler Membran

ÖZET
Sağ göz toksoplazma koryoretiniti nedeniyle 3 yıldır takip edilen 19 yaşındaki kadın hasta görmede azalma şikayeti ile başvurdu. Muayenesinde maküla bölgesinde koroidal neovasküler membran (KNVM) ve subretinal kanama izlendi. Her iki gözde vitreus sakindi. Fundus flöresein anjiyografide (FA) sağ gözde KNVM ile uyumlu sızıntı ve optik koherans tomografide (OKT) subretinal sıvı varlığı izlendi. Olguya inaktif toksoplazma koryoretinitine ikincil KNVM tanısı ile bir ay ara ile 2 doz intravitreal ranibizumab enjeksiyonu yapıldı. Enjeksiyon sonrası KNVM’nin OKT incelemesinde gerilediği ve görme keskinliğinin 20/1600’den 20/400’e yükseldiği görüldü. Toksoplazma koryoretinitine ikincil KNVM’de intravitreal ranibizumab güvenli ve etkili bir tedavi seçeneği olarak görünmektedir.

Choroidal Neovascular Membrane Secondary to Toxoplasma Chorioretinitis Treated Ranibizumab
ABSTRACT
A 19 year old woman with a history of toxoplasmosis chorioretinitis was referred to our clinic with decreased vision complaint. Choroidal neovascular membrane (CNVM) and hemorrhage in macular region secondary to a choroiretinitis scar was seen in her right eye.We did not identify any activity for uveitis in both eyes. Fundus fluorescein angiography showed leakage from the CNVM and optical coherence tomography revealed subretinal fluid. We decided to treat the CNVM with ranibizumab injection. Two intravitreal ranibizumab injections were performed one month apart. After injections CNVM regressed and her visual acuity increased 20/1600 to 20/400. Follow up examinations 18 months after injections revealed no recurrence of CNVM. Ranibizumab seems safe and efficient treatment for CNVM secondary to toxoplasma choroiretinitis.
